How to Play Backrooms
Backrooms is a survival horror game that takes place in the Backrooms, which are a maze of rooms and halls that seem to go on forever. The point of the game is to find a way out while staying alive and avoiding dangerous things. When you start the game, you find yourself in a random room with very little light and only a lamp to help you see. The rooms are all different sizes and shapes, and some of them have furniture, trash, or even strange things in them. Your first job is to look around the room and find anything useful, like batteries for your lamp or food to keep you alive.
When you feel ready, you can go into the halls to look for a way out. The hallways are poorly lit, and you can hear buzzing lights and footsteps from far away. This makes for a creepy atmosphere. The layout of the Backrooms is always changing, which makes it hard to get around. But you can leave biscuits or other signs to help you find your way back.
The Backrooms are not, however, empty. Some may move slowly and be easy to avoid, while others may move quickly and attack, making you have to hide or run away.
In the Backrooms, it's important to keep your mind straight. The more time you spend there, the more crazy you'll become. This can cause hallucinations, a skewed view of reality, and even draw in more dangerous beings. To stay sane, you need to find sources of light, take breaks when you can, and try not to look directly at the Lurkers.
You might run into other survivors who are also stuck in the Backrooms as you make your way through. Some may be friendly or helpful, while others may be aggressive or completely crazy. Getting to know these survivors can have both good and bad effects, so it's best to be careful.
