Bike Race is an exhilarating and difficult sport that requires courage, strength, coordination, fitness, strategy, and precision. The three main divisions of the sport are road races, track races, and off-road races. Each category contains a variety of distinct events. Events and competitions are also separated into age and ability categories; the age ranges for these categories are often Juniors (A - age 17 to 18; B - age 15 to 16; C - age 13 to 14; and D - age 12 and younger), Seniors, and Masters (30 and over). Seniors compete in ability divisions. Elite riders with experience of a national caliber are only allowed in Category 1. The entry-level classifications are Category 5 for males and Category 4 for women. Age and skill categories are also applicable to masters competitions. bike race
