We are seeking an experienced, high-efficiency Heavy Excavator Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for breaking, excavating, and loading marl stone at a fast-paced extraction site. The primary goal is to maintain a consistent output of at least 70 loads per day, alternating between a hydraulic hammer and a rock bucket to safely fracture material and continuously feed our primary crusher plant.

Key Responsibilities

High-Volume Production: Process, break, and excavate marl to hit a strict target of 70+ loads per working shift.

Crusher & Feeder Management: Efficiently load haul trucks and feed the primary crusher hopper, ensuring a steady flow of material without causing jams.

Attachment Utilization: Expertly operate both hydraulic hammer (breaker) and heavy-duty rock bucket attachments to fracture and harvest dense marl.

Equipment Care: Conduct daily pre-start inspections, grease components, monitor hydraulic pressures, and report any maintenance needs immediately to minimize downtime.

Site Safety: Maintain clean excavation benches and strictly adhere to all site safety, OHS, and environmental regulations.

Requirements & Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of experience operating 20-ton to 40-ton excavators in a quarry, mining, or heavy civil earthworks environment.

Proven Track Record: Demonstrated experience in high-production loading and rock-breaking operations (marl, limestone, or similar aggregates).

Technical Skill: Proficiency with hydraulic quick-couplers and precise hammer/breaker operation to maximize rock fracturing while protecting the machine.

Efficiency Focus: Strong understanding of cycle times, optimal swing angles, and bench positioning to maximize daily tonnage.

Physical Stamina: Ability to work long shifts in outdoor, dusty, and high-vibration environments.
