A growing quick-service restaurant in Kingston is seeking an experienced Chef to join our team.
? Schedule: Monday–Friday
?️ Type: Quick-service / breakfast / lunch operation
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook Jamaican-style meals
• Maintain consistent taste, quality and portion sizes
• Prepare done to order food efficiently during busy lunch periods
• Assist with food preparation and kitchen organization
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
• Help monitor food usage and minimize waste
• Follow recipes and maintain consistent food quality
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a cook/chef
• Strong Jamaican cooking skills
• Able to work quickly in a busy environment
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and safe food handling
• Food Handler's Permit preferred
• HEART training/certification is an advantage
